This three-hour practical workshop strengthens healthcare professionals’ knowledge and competency in the safe management of urinary catheterization. It covers appropriate indications, patient assessment, catheter selection, aseptic insertion, maintenance, specimen collection, removal, CAUTI prevention, troubleshooting, complication recognition, documentation, and escalation. A significant component is dedicated to hands-on skills demonstration and individual return demonstration using a urinary catheterization simulator/manikin.
